FILTROX Group sells SUTTER Wine Press Business to BUCHER VASLIN
The FILTROX Group has sold the business with SUTTER Grape Presses to BUCHER VASLIN S.A., Chalonnes sur Loire, France. The effective date for this transaction is January 26th, 2011. BUCHER VASLIN is taking over the business with new machines as well as all after-sales services, with the corresponding intellectual property and all brand rights. A press release was sent out today. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
This transaction allows FILTROX to focus on its core competence filtration. As the market leader in wine presses, we are sure BUCHER VASLIN will ensure a good service to the existing SUTTER customers. Since FILTROX will continue to be active in the wine industry with our filtration products, we are very committed to ensure a smooth transition and will provide full support to BUCHER VASLIN.
