The FILTRODISC™ BIO SD is a new technology for cell separation in biotech processes. The system is fully single use: all parts in contact with the product are disposable. It is scalable in a wide range.
The system is designed to replace centrifuges in a biotech process. Centrifuges are not single use, difficult to scale up and need a high effort for cleaning, cleaning validation and maintanance.
The product launch for FILTRODISC™ BIO SD is planned for the Achema trade show 2009 in Frankfurt.
